The Administrative Head Office of the Park is located in Maiduguri near Maiduguri International Hotel along Biu Road. Visitors coming to visit the Park have the following options to access by air via Maiduguri through the following routes:
- Lagos – Maiduguri; Abuja – Maiduguri,
Visitors from Northwest, Central and Southwestern region can get access to the Park through Damaturu while from the Northeastern region it is accessible through Yola. Visitors intending to visit the Wetlands (Dagona Waterfowl Sanctuary) and Bulatura Oases from the Northwest, Central and Southwestern part of the country are advised to come through the following routes:
- Kano –Hadejia – Nguru - Dagona
- Jos-Bauchi-Potiskum-Jakusko-Gashua-Dagona
- Jos-Bauchi-Potiskum-Damaturu-Gashua-Dagona
From the south-south and southeastern part of the country, the Park could be accessed by road through the following routes:
- Portharcourt-Aba-Maiduguri
- Calabar - Jos-Bauchi-Maiduguri
- Calabar-Jos-Bauchi-Potiskum-Jakusko-Gashua-Dagona
- Enugu-Onisha-Maiduguri.
