The largest and most diverse conservation enclave in Nigeria
Access to the Park:
Main access to the Gashaka Sector of the Park is from Jalingo-Mutum Biyu-Bali-Serti-Bodel Gate, while main access to Gumti Sector is from Yola-Mayo Belwa-Ganye-Sugu-Toungo. The closest airport is at Yola. However, a light aircraft runway has been rehabilitated in Serti, which could be used by visitors.

Accomodation:

Chalets at Toungo Sector of the Park
The Park has furnished accommodation facilities available in Serti town and Gashaka Base Camps. It has about 500 km of road network and several Ranger posts developed at strategic places to facilitate effective visitor reception and Park Protection. There are very good Camping sites within and around the Park; Mayo –kam, Mayo Gashaka, Mayo gamgam and Yakuba

Museum of Natural history:
There exist a museum of natural history located at Bodel head office Serti and Toungo range field office. The exhibition of different wildlife specimens, fishing gears, old hunting equipment and foorprints of animal species etc are common features of the museum. These sampled specimens are just the replica of the abundant faunal resources in the park.
