Location and Size
 Kainji Lake National Park Head Office, New Bussa
Kainji Lake, Nigeria’s Premier National Park, is located in the north central part of the country between latitudes 9o44’N and 10o23N and longitudes 3o40’E and 5o47’E. The Park is situated mainly within Niger State, with a smaller portion in Kwara State. It has a total of 5,340.82sq km, separated into two distinct, non-contiguous sectors: Borgu and Zugurma.
