NEW DEVELOPMENTS
 Dagara Ecological Research Centre
The Dagara Research Centre, an ecological research settlement, built by a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) – the Savannah Conservation, Nigeria with the support of the British High Commission is in the process of being commissioned. The settlement consists of four research huts, a reception, a mini-conference centre, a transit camp hut, a generating set and water facilities as well as a library. The buildings were constructed with eco-friendly materials in deference to the environment.
Recently, the Australian Embassy in Nigeria assisted in the placement of beacons in the Kamuku National Park.
